This is my favorite place to eat good and explore new drinks. Sawyers and co is a relaxing environment with a small town vibe. Please don't be fooled by the small town vibe because the food here competes with any five star dining experience. The staff consists of some of the sweetest people you will ever meet. The strawberry salad is better than.... (you know what I mean). The gumbo will make your toes curl. Tbh I have yet to experience a bad experience with this place. I have been a loyal patron for over six years. My visits are typically three or four times a month. Not once have I experienced an off moment. The food is always fresh and you can tell it's prepared by someone who loves their work. They have the absolute best food in Austin, Texas!!!

Classic (yet refined) Austin diner The menu is pretty much exactly what you'd expect in a diner down here, the niceness is in the quality of the dishes, the friendly staff, and the pleasant ambience. And yeah, excellent for day-drinking

I've gone to Sawyer & Co for both brunch and dinner and both are delicious in their own rights. Brunch can get busy on the weekends so if you can, make a reservation. Breakfast Sandwich on a biscuit was great. More bacon than typical and it's crispy to perfection. The biscuit is flaky and not too dense or dry. Husband got the tacos and they were full and tasty. Lunch/dinner the po boy is where it's at- the bread is what makes it a 10/10 for me. I love the retro diner vibe and there is plenty of outdoor shaded space for those Texas Spring and Fall days. Whichever time you choose to go, you won't be disappointed.

Good lunch place with a retro/mid century diner vibe. Had a business lunch here and enjoyed the catfish and blue plate special. My favorite thing I had was the corn muffin- yum! Server was friendly and helpful!
